J. Kelly Brown, Chief Executive Officer
Mr. Brown has more than twenty-six years experience in advanced technology development including enterprise software solutions, large-scale systems integration, information technology consulting, and weapon systems development. Prior to founding EMSolutions and Template, Mr. Brown spent eleven years managing the Government Operations Division of an advanced software product company. His work included the development and customization of enterprise integration, workflow, and business process software technology. Mr. Brown was selected as AFEI Chairman in September 2006 and is also an NDIA Board Member. He serves on the Board of Trustees for Capitol College and is co-chair of the Innovation and Leadership Institute. Mr. Brown was recognized for his superior management of acquisition and logistics programs when he received the 1997 Secretary of Defense Superior Management Award. He holds a MS degree in Technology Management from American University and a BS degree in Electronic Engineering from Capitol College.
Robert L. Brown, President
Mr. Brown has more than twenty years of management experience in enterprise security and administration. During the past nine years, Mr. Brown directed security and administrations for Template Software's Government Operations Division, later TSGS, Inc., a subsidiary of Level8 Systems. He has experience with classified facility administration, security education, foreign compliance issues, contract administration, and security planning in both government and commercial environments. Previously, Mr. Brown held security and administrative positions with Riverside Research Institute, Arete Associates, and Quest Research Corporation. He served in the U.S. Army and holds a BA in Government and Politics from George Mason University.
Richard P. Munro, Sector President
Mr. Munro has more than thirty-five years of leadership experience in military and corporate environments. Since 1998, Mr. Munro served as Program Manager for a large contract for Template Software Government Operations Division and as Director of the Government Services Sector. Prior to his contributions to Template, Mr. Munro spent his final two years in the U.S. Navy as Chief Financial Officer of Naval Aviation Programs. He also held major ashore and squadron commands. He holds a BS in Industrial Management from the Georgia Institute of Technology, a MBA in Financial Management from the University of Santa Clara, and is a Distinguished Graduate of the Naval War College.
John M. Tromba, Sector President
Prior to assuming his current position as Sector President, Mr. Tromba served as the Chief Operating Officer and Director of Business and Financial Operations since joining the company in August 2000. Mr. Tromba has over thirty years of programmatic and financial experience both in Industry and Government. While in the Government Mr. Tromba was a designated Acquisition Professional who achieved the highest rating in Program Management; Business, Cost Estimating, and Financial Management; and Test and Evaluation Engineering. He holds a Bachelor of Science Degree from the United States Naval Academy, a Master of Science Degree from the University of Southern California and a Master of Arts Degree from the United States Naval War College.
Jim B. Edens, Deputy Sector President
Mr. Edens has over twenty-five years of military and corporate experience and has served in various Navy fleet and staff positions as well as worked on major Department of the Defense acquisition programs. Prior to assuming his current position as Deputy Sector President, Mr. Edens was the Program Manager for the company’s largest contract, a role he still maintains. Mr. Edens supports the Sector President by managing the company’s Engineering, Logistics, Information Technology and Business Processes functional areas. Mr. Edens holds a BS in management from Arizona State University, a MS in Human Resource Management from Troy State University and a MS from the Industrial College of the Armed Forces (ICAF), National Defense University.
Matthew S. Unruh, Deputy Sector President
Prior to assuming his current position as Vice President/Sector Deputy, Mr. Unruh served in a number of roles including Director of Modeling Simulation & Analysis and Managing Director of Network Operations. In his current role he is responsible for the management of a diverse team providing support to a variety of government clients including the US Navy, US Army, OSD, and OASD. Before joining EMSolutions in March 1999 he served as a Systems Analyst at SAIC supporting OPNAV. Mr. Unruh holds a Bachelor of Science Degree from Virginia Polytechnic Institute and State University and a Masters in Business Administration from Colorado State University.
James A. Saputo, Chief Financial Officer
Mr. Saputo has over twenty-five years as a strategic and financial leader across a diverse set of industries including technology, real estate and early-stage organizations. Mr. Saputo currently manages all financial risk and oversees corporate financial planning, record-keeping, and financial and government compliance. Mr. Saputo has a BS in Accounting from Pennsylvania State University, a Masters in Business Administration (MBA) from Miami (Ohio) University and is a Certified Public Account (CPA).
O. Larry Sentman, Chief Technology Officer
Mr. Sentman has over twenty years of experience in the analysis, design and implementation of complex real-time computer systems for military use. Mr. Sentman’s professional experience includes team leadership and management of large, real time computer systems and encompasses management of systems through the complete system development and software life cycle. Mr. Sentman has a BS in Aeronautical Engineering with distinction from Purdue University and a MS in Engineering Science from the Naval Postgraduate School.
Douglas L. Walls, CISSP, Chief Information Officer
Mr. Walls has more than twenty years experience in network security, managing information systems, computer networks and business development. Mr. Walls has served as an Information Assurance Manager on DoD networks and is currently an advisor to the Information Assurance Committee of the Contractor SAP Security Working Group. Mr. Walls has managed multiple, mixed platform classified and unclassified networks across the nation. He provides network design, security and implementation, resource management, disaster recovery and full end-to-end lifecycle support. Previously, he held information management and business development positions at various companies. He holds a BS in Business Management and Computer Science from Asbury College and an MBA in Management Science and Information Systems from Virginia Polytechnic Institute and State University.
