System Analysis
System Analysis
System analysis
involves breaking a system down into its subsystems and component
parts for solving complex engineering challenges. This technique
is used throughout the systems engineering process from determining
system requirements to system testing and finally to operating the
system.
Modeling
and Simulation
We develop models and simulations to understand or predict system
behavior. Models and simulations help us improve system effectiveness
and efficiency during the analysis phase. We use probabilistic (stochastic)
and deterministic modeling techniques as appropriate.
Operations
Research
The application of the scientific method and mathematical models
to decision making is called operations research. Operations research
is a key component of the systems analysis process.
- How should
you allocate your resources? We can recommend the best way to
spread your money, personnel, time and processing power among
your subsystems
- What is the
best application of your scarce dollars? We help you deal with
budgetary constraints
- We perform
sensitivity analysis to determine how changes in individual variables
affect the rest of the system
